Studying:
- Take about 10-15 minutes each night (or during study hall) to review what you read about/ completed in class.
- Pay attention to vocabulary words--they will come up in class again!
- Use note cards to help study vocabulary.
- Retell the important events of class to a parent or older sibling to help recall important facts (make sure that you are focused on the facts of the day not the social interactions :) )
- If you are preparing for a test, start about a week in advance. The first couple of nights review vocabulary with someone. The next few nights take about 20 minutes to review each section/concept you should have learned. DON'T FORGET TO COMPLETE ANY STUDY GUIDES YOU GET!
- Don't cram the night before-- start studying a little bit each night before the test to be more prepared.
